#LOOKSTHATROCK WITH THE VMA AWARDS // PLUS A GIVEAWAY

Hell-OOH! What a great Friday... I'm ready for the weekend, how about you!?!Today I am teaming up with the MTV Video Music Awards and CVS to get you all pumped for this years' award show. I honestly love the VMA's because of the crazy fashion and beauty on the red carpet, plus the EPIC music performances and collaborations that happen on stage.

Some day, I hope to be in attendance at the show so I can bring you the inside snoop straight from the source. But until that day comes, I can still get you excited to watch the show- it's on Sunday Aug 24th 9/8c.
CVS is offering some really great beauty deals in honor of this years show, it's all part of their #LOOKSTHATROCK campaign. They sent me a box of beauty goodies to share with my friends during a little pre-VMA party this week. It was so much fun- and we all found some new products to love.

I created my rock star look above using a few goodies from my party kit:

Covergirl Bombshell Shine Shadow- a cream shadow that works great as a base for your eye lids, and makes the colors on top of it POP so much brighter!
Covergirl Bombshell Curvacious Mascara- double sided for twice the fun (pictured in my attempt-to-be-cool rocker pic above)
Olay Dark Circle Correcting Hydraswirl- super creamy moisture gel with a hint of correcting tint to brighten up the under eye nicely
Covergirl Outlast Illumina Lip Color- two step lip system that stains and hydrates for a great pop on the lips. Definitely a new fav

And since most celebrities are complete nut-cases, I thought it was only fitting that I wore my 'more issues than VOGUE' tee. It's so cute and snarky... just like me. [see what I did there?]
