Well another Fashion Week has come and gone, and it's safe to say I had a blast being a very small fly on the wall, and getting a few sneak peaks of the magic in action. This year the venues were unique [mostly warehouses and open space halls] which added to the ambiance of the shows which all located in Chelsea and the west side of Manhattan.
Although the fashion is certainly the star of the show, the BEAUTY of Fashion Week plays a key role, and it never disappoints. I was lucky enough to go backstage at several shows and witness the prep live- and seeing the amount of work that goes into the presentations is really awe inspiring!
Here is a little glimpse of my favorite looks from the week. There were lots of presentations that had bright pops of color on the eyes, many with totally wearable buns and ponytails, and a huge resurgence of 70's glam, which you'll see in the video below.
